We have just upgraded to CE V6 from V2, I have re-designed our card using the wizard and the first card printed fine. But when I went to do the next card I got this error:

Could not read data from {student} key value {2} is not found. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

Thanks

Nicole

Hello Nicole,

This was a known bug that was solved in version 6 of CardExchange®. It would disappear when you click on Refresh F5. But considering the fact that you say you are using v6, can you please let me know what your serial number is and which exact version number of the CardExchange® installation you have there?

Thanks.

Hi Marcel,

It is CardExchange Entry 6.0.3.1 I will send our serial number to you by private message.

Thanks for your assistance.

Nicole

Hi Nicole,

If this is a bug, I would like to reproduce it (and solve it). Can you please answer the following questions:

  • Are you using filters? If so, does the record you try to print satisfy the filter condition?
  • Does the record you try to print disappear when you refresh the data (F5)?
  • Could you send us the file DataExchange.log (in the data folder) after reproducing the problem?

Thanks for your cooperation.

Hi,

This error has been solved by our distributor, there was an issue with the excel spreadsheet.

Thanks for your help!

Nicole
