The error displays further as below;

Could not open card definition from [ C\CARDEXCHANGE\DATA/METADATA.CDD]
The card item cardtype 'start tag on line 1 doesnot mach the end tag of card item type # line1, position 655501.
Anyone knows how to fix this ? By the way I have not installed this software, Just scrambling now to get this fixed as we have urgent cards to do.

Any document you guys can point me to for any procedure that may lead to resolving this issue ?

Cheers guys and thanks in advance.

The path above doesn't seems to be right and thats the reason that is not possible to read the card definitions. The default path to CardExchange data folder is "DataDirectory=C:\Users\username\Documents\CardExchange\Data".
You can check where your CardExchange is reading the data folder in CardExchange.ini file which can be found in the same place as CardExchange.exe.

Hi CardMaker,

Probably your metadata.cdd file has become corrupt. In that case you have to put back a backup or, if no backup is available, delete the corrupt file. If you delete the file, you have to setup your card definitions again, although you can reuse the still existing card layout files (*.ced) and data definition files (*.dtd).
